Matthew Morrison was dressed to the nines (along with a group of other big Hollywood stars) on Saturday night to attend the Art of Elysium’s 5th Annual Heaven Gala — and what do you know, Celebuzz was also there to chat with the night’s biggest names.

Our pal Kelly Lynch from Socialite Life was working the red carpet for us at the Historic Union Station in Los Angeles and spoke with none other than Mr. Morrison — aka Mr. Schue from Glee. Morrison, who looked dashing in a traditional tuxedo, told us that the charity event is near and dear to his heart, and also gave a little sneak preview of what we can expect on the upcoming episodes of Glee.  

When asked about his views on charity given the not-so-hot economy of late, Morrison said that for celebrities, it should be something essential.

“It’s always important, especially in this business. A lot of people are very fortunate — myself included — to have a great job. To be a part of something that can give back to kids and that’s art related, it’s very important to me,” Morrison told Celebuzz.

And what about Glee?

“We have our Michael Jackson episode, which is going to be great. The Latin week, which Ricky Martin is going to be in. Will and Emma fans have a lot of good stuff to look forward to.”
